Free/Reduced Lunches – Important Records Maintenance, Eligible BC Families
Due to the Federal guideline for the 2020-2021 school year, all students at Buckeye Central are being provided with free breakfasts and lunches for the remainder of this school year. While this guideline is a tremendous benefit for every student, it’s critically important for eligible families to file free/reduced eligibility paperwork. Even though all students are receiving free meals, the paperwork for qualifying families provides important records for other potential opportunities, e.g. testing costs, future meals, etc. By filing the 2020-2021 eligibility document, you are assured a 30-day free/reduced meals window at the beginning of next (2021-2022) school year. Without the current year’s documentation, eligible families will be responsible for breakfast and lunch costs effective day one next year.
Please take a moment to complete the Free/Reduced Lunch Form if you are eligible. While it doesn’t impact this year’s free meals, as noted above, it can greatly impact future opportunities. Our goal is to benefit each of our eligible families presently and into the future. If you have questions, please feel free to contact Haley Carrick, Assistant to the Treasurer, at email@example.com. Forms can be sent home when we hear from you. Thanks for your attention to this important topic. Making a difference together!
