Buckeye Central Middle School is taking a proactive approach on the topic of bullying this year. As part of National Bullying Prevention Month, which is recognized each October, students are participating in a series of anti-bullying lessons.
They are kicking off each week throughout the month with a reminder not to bully. Additionally, they are watching short videos that give tips on what to do if you are being bullied and how to help someone else who is being bullied.
The eighth grade English Language Arts students are participating in a hands-on learning activity to help them better recall the lessons they are learning by creating bullying videos, five of which will be shared with the school the last week in October.
