Superintendent's Office

August 2026
Dear Buckeye Central Families and Community,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
We are excited to welcome students and staff back for another year at Buckeye Central Local Schools. The start of a new school year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, connect, and get involved, and we are looking forward to all that is ahead.
As we begin the year, we are also focused on making sure our students have the support, structure, and opportunities they need at every stage of their school journey. This year, our new building configuration is designed to strengthen student learning, better align support services, and create a more focused educational experience at each stage of development. By grouping students in ways that better reflect their academic, social, and developmental needs, we can provide more targeted instruction, stronger intervention support, and greater continuity as students move through their school journey.
We also want students to continue learning beyond the classroom. Field trips, hands-on experiences, activities, athletics, arts, and other opportunities help students expand their learning, build confidence, and develop a greater appreciation for the world around them.
Our focus remains on continued growth, both academically and socially. As a staff, our priority is to prepare students for their futures while supporting their social and emotional health and happiness.
I encourage our students and families to get involved, participate in activities, attend events, and stay in communication with our Buckeye Central staff throughout the year. Working together makes a difference for our students.
Thank you for your continued support of Buckeye Central Local Schools. I am excited for a great school year as we continue developing bright futures, curious minds, and strong hearts.
Sincerely,
Barbara W. Green, Superintendent
Buckeye Central Local Schools
